Visual Composer returns undefined when using Front End Editor

Hi I have Visual Composer included with a theme I purchased. The Front End Editor is not working properly (returns Undefined) so I thought I would purchase the plugin separately. Will this cause any issues with the theme? It's the Chicago Restaurant, Cafe, Bar and Bistro theme purchased through Theme Forrest.

Visual Composer is not an Atlassian product, so you probably want to ask this in a Visual Composer forum rather than here.

I suspect you have landed here because they use Confluence for their documentation, but don't seem to put the "ask for help" in a good place that anyone can spot.  While looking for it, you've landed on Confluence's "ask for help with Confluence" link instead of what you really need.  (Before you ask, I can't find a useful link for help with Visual Composer either...)
