Specifically trying to determine how to configure the url links that get included in notifications generated within JIRA. The url generated by the controller is different that the physical server name that hosts the JIRA application.

The FirePass generated URL appears to be working and stable.

Well, that is question. I can navigate within the application but selecting links provided by the notifications needs something different. An example:

The JIRA base url looks something like

http://somehost.somedomain.com:8280

Connected to JIRA through the FirePass controller provides a url that looks something like:

https://somedomain.com/f5-w-687474703a2f2f3139322e3136382e3135352e31353a38323830$$/secure/IssueNavigator.jspa

Not know much about the firepass controller and not being the administrator for the controller I do not know much about the f5-w string that is used in the url but my guess is it represents the session that is created by the controller for the user that is logged in through firepass.

Have you configured the JIRA Base URL correctly?
