How to Add Watcher

How can a creator of an issue add watchers on the same issue he/she created? When I try to add watchers, I get this big red box pop-out saying:

"There was an error adding watcher

• User 'xxxxxxxxxx' is not allowed to add watchers to issue 'XXXX-XX'

Check that they have "maintain watcher" permissions in the permission screen.

Hi Nic, can you please elaborate where to find "maintain watcher" permissions page? We are using Jira On Demand. Thanks.

In the permission scheme for the project. You need to be an admin, and it's easiest to look at the project administration page to begin with, as you'll be able to follow the links to the permissions.
