Converting from LDAP/AD authentication to local user authentication

Brian Hart October 27, 2012

I'd like to discontinue use of LDAP/AD authentication in favor of having Confluence-defined users, passwords, and groups. What is the best way to accomplish this so that users won't become unlinked from their pages?

Hi there

You should move all the users from LDAP to internal directory. To do that, you can just create the users manually (one by one) in internal directory or performing some SQL statements against your database.

Perharps the following post could be useful to understand what are the tables related to it:

Nonetheless, you my look for further assistance at https://support.atlassian.com , raising a new support ticket.
