Content by Label Macro

This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Content by Label Macro

We're using the Content by Label macro, but recently it has stopped updating when new pages are given the appropriate label in the CQL.  That is, new pages don't appear in the macro when the label is added until a manual re-indexing of Confluence is run.  Why could this be happening?  Is there a Confluence setting to compel macros to refresh?

Try the rebuild-from-scratch method to see if that fixes things.

Thanks.  However, this macro is not updating over several days.

Many macros rely on the index for population. Supposedly new entries are placed in a queue and reindexed every 5 seconds. In reality, it can be a few cycles before things show up. If you can't wait, then you have to do the manual reindex.
