Confluence Sharepoint Connector

Regis August 17, 2013

Hi There

I have Confluence 5.1.4. I'm testing the add-in above mentioned, and I cannot have it connecting to Sharepoint. When configuring, the tests supplied are OK. But when adding sp-list in a Confluence page, I get, for the Sharepoint page 'List Announcements':

List Announcements could not be retrieved from SharePoint: javax.xml.ws.WebServiceException: org.apache.cxf.interceptor.Fault: Could not send Message.

Any idea?

Regis

The exception indicates that Confluence could not make a successful call to SharePoint. What version of SharePoint Connector that you have installed? Have you installed it on the SharePoint server too?

It is fixed now, thanks; we thought, reading the documentation, that we didn't need to install something on Sharepoint, for we are not interested in displaying Confluence info in Sharepoint, we want only to access some Sharepoint info from Confluence. It was wrong. Whatever you need, you have to install something on Confluence & on Sharepoint.

This is fixed. We have now another issue with Search, but this is something else :) The Search done by sp-link searches for a title matching what is entered, whereas in the Confluence Search or the Sharepoint site search, things are searched against filename, title, etc... No idea why the sp-link search restricts its search on the title?

Thanks Hanis.
