Confluence - Display of times from different Time Zones

Bill Davis November 28, 2011

We have recently added a few international offices and we want to have a confluence page that lists the time of our head office as well as the time for each of our international offices.

I could not find an existing macro or plugin that displays time, but is this possible?

Ideally I would love to have an actual clock image instead of just the text showing the time.

Please let me know if you have seen this anywhere and where I can get it...thanks

I would also like to use a clock plugin to display the current time of our offices in different time zones. Has any headway been made?

I did it! I hope this makes your day like it did mine:

  1. Choose the HTML macro ("Allows the use of HTML code within a Confluence page") and click Insert.
  2. Get your clock: https://www.zeitverschiebung.net/en/
  3. Get your weather: https://weatherwidget.io/

If you want multiple time zones, I recommend using sections (e.g., 2 rows of 3 wide).

Although we chose not to use it, I even found DUAL temperature widgets with all kinds of themes at https://www.wunderground.com/stickers/

I am having a great day! :D

Does anyone have a better HTML code for the world clock?

Adriana Ellice-Flint May 29, 2017

I would be very interested as well, same reasons as stated above. With international teams, it would be helpful to have the ability to show local time in each location.

We have a similar usecase - display clocks for all international offices - but don't want to embed an external source.

Does anyone if there's a clock plugin / macro now?

Thx, Anne

@Chris Allen

I've tried the HTML code from the link you provided and entered it in the HTML Macro.

The world clock is not showing.  All I'm seeing is a button called "world clock" linked to the world clock page.

Has anyone gotten this to work?  Seems like it would fit the bill but when I copy the code from their site into the HTML macro, I get "world clock" and nothing else, as listed above.

Nope, not yet.  :(

Hi Bill. 2 years late, but i have just done this using the HTML macro, and the HTML code generated from http://localtimes.info/getwidget/world/ and then clicking "choose cities and colours".

You can choose from a series of different displays and formats.
