Install Plugins by Space

Nat Kino February 24, 2021

Is it possible to install plugins only to specific Spaces?

My company restrict installing plugins, because it affects entire company's Spaces, but if it can be done by Space basis, we could do a lot more.

@Nat Kino

The short answer is no. You can not install plugins in Confluence for specific spaces only.

Once you install a plugin it is available for everyone.

All the best,

Just as a quick addition - some apps do have functions that enable them to be have no effect on a space, or be partially or totally enabled.  It's most notable on apps like the Comala or Scroll ones, where you've got spaces where you want workflows and controls on content publishing (so you use the apps) and then internal spaces where you don't need them at all (you can turn them off completely at the space level)

But it depends on what the app does and how, and if the authors have put in functions for space settings.

Thank you for the additional info!

It's good to know that apps can be made with space-settings.
