Disable Create Button and People Directory Link for confluence user but show for adminstrators

hi,
iam new and got a confluence question.
my confluence header got the Button Create and the link to the People Directory. My problem is, that i dont find a way to disable the button and the link for the group confluence - user. Only the group confluence - administrator should be able to create new pages and take a look in the People Directory.

I am using confluence version 5.5.3.

Over global permission i denied the permission for confluence user for creating new Sites, but the button is still there.

ok i found i solution for hiding the people directory. In /confluence/template/includes is a menu-macros.vm. This file will set and rendered the left side of the header. In this file i could prevent to render the people directory.

Do disable create button - you should remove group from all add permissions for all existing spaces (see https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Space+Permissions+Overviewfor details) and disable create space and create personal space permission (see https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Global+Permissions+Overview)

The tip with removing all add permissions for all existing spaces works fine. Thanks a lot.

But i cannot hide the people directory. https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Hiding+the+People+Directoryjust work for the group anonymous or for all. See the first two comments. Do you have another idea?
