Active directory syncs 'random' users from group

Question

Goodmorning,

We create a director whihc synchonize succesfully with our active directory.

But when creating a group in active directory with 4 users, when we sync that group only 2 users got synced.

There is apossibility that that users allready exsists in a other Active directory group, can that be the issue?

Does someone has any experience with syncing with active directroy?

Goodafternoon Ann,

We experience that just when a user is mentioned specific, the users are pull in. But this is not what we expected to happen.

Since this will assume that we have to specify all the group by name to have the users pulled in.

With more than 10 groups this is not expedient.

But if you are saying that this isnt normal behavoir, could this be a bug? Or is it a misconfiguration on our side?

If the users are outside the scope of the user filter, being members of a group that is included in the group filter will not pull them in. Please verify that the users are within the scope of the Base DN, Additional user DN, if any, and are withing the scope of the user object filter under User Directory>User Schema settings.

It's ok for the users to belong to multiple groups in Active directory.
