How can I set up personal notification rules using the Responders field?

I am trying to create a personal notification rule using the Responders field. What I would like to do is have alerts that are directed to my team be routed one way and alerts that are directly to me routed another way. However, I have not been able to get this to work. I have tried several different ways,

Responders contains Team Name

Responders contains Team ID

Responders matches Team ID

I also have a second rule

Details (key-value based) incident-id NOT is Empty

However Opsgenie always ends up using the routing that I set up for me which is

Responders NOT contains Team ID

Details (key-value based) incident-id NOT is Empty

Has else been able to get something like this to work? Anyone have any ideas?

Hi @Kim Barry ,

Since the responder field is an array like tags, I believe Contains or Matches (regex) should be either of the two options selected when filtering on the team/responder.

I had success filtering on the actual name vs. the ID though. For example:

nots1.jpg

nots4.jpg

nots2.jpg

The order of your notification rules might matter as well since Opsgenie processes these in an order of operations from top >> down, and will use the first matching rule / filter:
