Hello everyone,
There are a lot of nonprofits organizations around the world that still aren't using any project management tools in their work. At our foundation, we always want to help others help better and more efficiently. And good project management software is a great place to start digitally transforming your organization. That is why we've created the series of tutorials for non-tech people about Jira and Atlassian tools - especially because they can get them for free (Server versions), thanks to Community License. Here is the list of posts with them, posted by our friend Urszula from our mother-company, Soldevelo. I wanted to post this list here, to make them easier to find for new people from NGOs, who are interested in this topic.
I hope this list will help new organizations in their first step with these tools. From time to time we are creating other parts, so I'll edit this post with new articles in the future.
Hello @carolyn french !
You can read more about our Foundation on our website:
https://soldevelofoundation.org/en/
Basically, we were created by an IT company to help people through technology. Our main mission is to help various Open Source projects, that are working for people in the developing countries (like OpenMRS or openIMIS for example). But besides it, we want to also show other NGO's and nonprofit organizations, how they can work more efficiently and better, thanks to the newest software and other digital tools that are available to them (for example Google Ad Grants). Help them help better. We have a series of articles and infographic of how they can improve their organizations. So this is were Jira comes - we are using it ourselves from the start, and we know how good planning can get more stuff done. Thanks to Community License it is an easy choice for us, to promote it to the others.
Thanks so much for this @Maciej Neumann - from someone looking at OpenLMIS :D
