How do I add a custom field back to the issue display in Next gen ?

It seems I can no longer click show more fields on the issue and data uploaded into a custom field doesnt display when i click on the issue. How do I add that field to the issue layout?

Hello,

You add a field to the issue layout in project settings -> issue types. Choose the required issue type and you will be able to add a field:
