I have created a new "priority" field with 4 different values.
Where 1 is highest and should have "blocker" icon or similar. 2 is critical and should have "urgent arrow" or similar. 3 is "normal" and should have reflecting icon. 4 is "low" and should have icon reflecting that.
How do I accomplish this in Jira 7.4.4?
Well as I said:
The trick was to create a new single field using this new option ->
I have no problem with this anymore
Thank you for your time
Oh, I see, sorry :)
I just thought we haven't resolved the issue yet.
Need some sleep ^_^
Have a nice day!
P.S. You're welcome!

Hi @Helen Ahlberg!
I'm sorry, now I don't quite get what we're trying to accomplish here. Please, correct me if I'm wrong.
You need to create 2 custom fields
1) Single Select Type (SSF)
2) Multi-Select (MSF)
These types should be configured with custom icons. For example:
Where
1 (red) - SSF, custom icons
2 (blue) - MSF, custom icons
You can configure your fields this way:
And here's how you create a custom field in the first place:
Adding, editing, and deleting a custom field
Hope it makes any sense.

Ok, I see. There's a free marketplace app I used for a similar purpose:
You can configure it and use in only one project.
Does it suit your needs?

I'd like to, but I don't have my environment and can't reproduce the process.
Would you please be so kind as to show me a couple of screenshots (with the settings) to refresh my memory?
Thanks.

Any suggestions on how to implement own icons in a new single field list?

Hi
well yes, but this is not what I am after.
I want to use this new field separate from the Jira field Priority.
A totally new field for just one project :
'icon' Blocker (1) etc.. in a select list (single choise)
'icon' Critical (2)
'icon' Normal (3)
'icon' Low (4)
