Sorry we cant understand want you want to fix in Jira. Can you give us some information about what you trying to fix in Jira. Is your Jira is on cloud or datacenter? A Company managed or team managed? What specific error you encountered?

Jira is on cloud, and i would like to understand whether a possibility is there to find when the defect is fixed during back porting/ forward porting but missed to clone it

Do you have any indicator or fields use to determine defect that was fixed during back porting? If yes you can filter it to shows the relevant issues based on that field and status.
