disable keyboard shortcut

Hi, I find it difficult to avoid the Jira keyboard shortcut. I want to disable my keyboard shortcut and I tried to follow the instruction online but I am not seeing a dialog box in the UI of Keyboard Shortcuts. 

Can someone please advise me how to disable the shortcut?

Before we proceed, may I know what Jira are you on, cloud or server?

If you are using Jira Cloud,

• Disabling keyboard shortcut is not currently possible.
• This feature is requested and you can up-vote for it here - https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-69489

If you are on Jira Server/Data Center,

• On top right hand corner you will find this icon (look at image below)
• 
• Once you click on keyboard shortcut a dialog will open
• look at bottom of dialog, this will a link to "Disable Keyboard Shortcut" (look at image below)
•

Hi Noctis,

Thanks for your question about keyboard shortcuts! My name's Matt and I'm one of the product managers in Jira Cloud. My team picked this problem up and have just started to roll out a feature that will allow users to enable/disable shortcuts at a per-user level.

See the attached screenshot of what this will look like. We were constrained by time so we decided to put it into the keyboard shortcut<> </> dialog for now. We believe this will address the problem and in the future, we will consider adding it inside the user profile page.

As of this afternoon, it will be available to 5% of Jira Cloud customers and we aim to get this rolled out to 100% in early August.
