While exporting the issues in jira, the text properties are not working. Example:Bold character are represented as *HI*

Can anyone help on this ?

The text is stored as markup, so when you export it, you get the characters representing that.

It's working fine, the problem is that whatever you are opening the export with does not understand the formatting markup.

Can you please tell us in which format we can export so that we will not face this issue ?
