Where do you define values for a custom field

Hello,

I have a custom field that was created by someone, this custom field appears in a Create Issue form. The field name is Team I located the field in custom fields but I cannot see where the "Team" values are being defined it's a multiple field box.

Hi @Fernando André

You could check where the field is coming from and what options are available. You'll need to be a Site Admin to do this:

  • Go to Jira Admin (cog in upper-right)
  • Select Issues > Custom Fields
  • Search for the "Team" field
  • Assuming it is a created custom field, click the Actions cog and select Configure
  • Select to edit the options if this is a specific set of options
  • You might need to view "context" for a specific project if there are more options in the field than in your specific project

If the field is "locked" it might be a custom field from an app - such as Portfolio, which has a Team field. You'd need to manage teams from within Portfolio to add or remove them.
