Text search using symbol "~" for assignee field

Dear All,

How to perform text search for the assignee field? I need to extract JIRA tickets data based on specific domain of the assignee email id. The "~" symbol does not show in the dropdown list for this specific field while it shows for other fields like the comment field.

The ~ text search isn't available for non text fields.

• Environment
• Comments
• custom fields that use the "Free Text Searcher"; this includes custom fields of the following built-in Custom Field Types
  • Free Text Field (unlimited text)
  • Text Field (< 255 characters)
  • Read-only Text Field

Depending on your plugins you may be able to update a text field in the workflow or automation on change of assignee.

For example: I need to find all issues, which created by users with content "@email.com".
