Synchronising issues linked together

Hi

We have a product that is currently being used by 8 different customers. For security reasons we cannot have all issues in a single project. So, what we have currently is 8 different projects and if a bug is created in one project then the reporter clones and links the same bug onto the 7 other projects (I know it is a poor security model but this is what we have been using for a few years now)

Now when someone updates an issues on one project it is very painful for him to go into 7 other project and update this same. So, we had a custom plugin (built on 3.13) which when clicked asked you the fields you want to synchronize with all the linked issues and automatically synchronised them.

Unfortunately the plugin cannot be upgraded to 5.X version.

Is there a similar plugin that is available in the marketplace which can perform similar function?

Probably you should have modelled the security using the advanced permissions which will allow only the creator to see the issues - https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Current+Reporter+Browse+Project+Permission and have all issues in same project.

I agree. It should have been created with a similar security model.
