Showing all child issues in the Jira Advance Roadmap - Grouping "Components"

Josef M_ July 5, 2023

Hello together,

we group in our Roadmap the Sagas after "Components". The problem is now that not all the child issues are shown which are part of the Saga or respective the Epic.

Is there any chance to show all Child issues in the roadmap while grouping after components without having to put the component on all the stories itself?

Thanks for your help.

Hi @Josef M_ welcome to the community.  If you want to group by component the component field must have a value.

So there is no chance that if the Saga has component X that the Epic linked to that saga will be shown in the Roadmap if the Epic does not have the component itself?

I have the same big pain.... I am going to look for automation that all issues created within an epic will inherit automatically the component, anyone crafted a solution ?
