Set validator on project field

Question

Jira v6.2, behavior plugin 0.5.10

I am trying to set a behavior based on the Project field.

Using server side script, the script never gets executed (log.debug statements not it log file), however if I base the behavior on any other field it works (and log.debug statements are in log file).

Is it possible to use the Project field in this way?

Trying to set the ClientCode = project field if project<>'inhouse', then user can skip clientcode and complete the form (ie skip clientcode)

I think that's because the project field is not actually shown on the screens. What are you trying to do ? Can't you attach to another field and just reference the project field there ?
