Restrict moving issues to a status if Fix Version is blank

Hi

I've created a scrum board with 4 columns:

To do, In Progress, Testing and Done.

I want to restrict issues being moved from "In Progress" to "Testing" if a fix version is blank. Is there a way of doing this?

This is not something JIRA can do natively.  But there are plugins that can extend this functionality in workflows.   For example the JIRA Misc Workflow Extensions does have the ability for JIRA to add specific fields to a validator before you can then execute a transition that would change the status.
