You have only two options: clone the issue with all its subtasks or without any of the subtasks. You can't say "I wan't to clone the issue with subtask A but without Subtask B". If you got the delete issue permission however, you could clone all subtasks and delete the ones you don't need.
Understood. Then question to developers: can you implement the feature which add possibility to choose which subtask will be cloned?
