Hell everyone,
how is it possible to grant users the permission to export issues?
I can not find settings for that in the Permissions and Project Roles. Is it done there?
Or is it turned on/off for everyone in a project?
Is it maybe done in issue security settings?
Maybe it has something to do with wether Time Tracking is turned on/off?
Important to say is that I have installed the App "Hide Time Tracking"
Thanks in advance for your help and best regards
Andreas
Hi,
thanks for your help.
I solved this myself: The user has to have the permission "work on issues". If not the user can not export issues.
My best regards
Andreas
That is awesome, @Andreas Denzler !
Thank you for teaching me something new :)

Hi,
I cannot agree on that. I've been testing this multiple times with users with neither any access to the Tempo Plugin nor the permission to "work on issues". They are still able to export any issue they are able to see.
Anything else you've changed to make this work? Would be quite happy to solve this :)
Thanks in advance.
Best regards
David

Hi @Andreas Denzler ,
There is no way to restrict the user from exporting issues with Jira out-of-the-box. You can check the Marketplace for an add-on application, there may be one available that can do this for you.
