Number of Issues per page

I couldn't find a config option for the total number of issues per page displayed. So I wondered if this is still true?

Anyhow I would like to suggest the following:

• Each user can define his own number of issues per page.
• This total number of issues 1000 - I think Jira should give a warning that there are more than 1000 results and ask if it should retrieve them - and not silently cut them off.

Users can define the page size, but only on issue navigator. This is done in the user profile.

When exporting issues to Excel, there is no limit that we can define and JIRA still puts a limit at 1000. There is an option to increase the tempMax property on the url but that is only a workaround.
