Notification when currently opened Issue was changed

Hi,

is it possible to inform Users when an Issue they have currently opened or are currently editing has been changed by another User?

I would like a small message to pop up on the screen in the likes of "The current issues content has been changed, please reload the page to see the changes".

Welcome  to the community !!

This is not possible in native jira. There is an Atlassian add-on "Issue Edit Notifications for Jira" which does the work. Please check.

You can also check in Atlassian marketplace for different plugins.

thank you for your quick response! That plugin would seem to be perfect, sadly we are using Jira Datacenter and the plugin only works for Server installations.

The other available plugins i saw are kind of doing to much for my requirements.
However i will keep searching and update this Issue if i found something.
