Migrate JIRA Data / Project / Board to Microsoft Planner

Adeel Asad September 13, 2019

Wanted to see if we can export JIRA data and upload it in Microsoft Planner Board . Is there a way to achieve that ? without staying signed up with JIRA .

Hello Adeel,

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

Indeed, we don't have a dedicated tool to migrate content from JIRA To Microsoft planner, however, you can do it through Excel/CSV files, since Microsoft Planner allows the import of Spreadsheet content.

To import your JIRA data to a CSV file, you can follow the steps below:

- Click on the search button > Create a query to return all the issues you want to export:

- Click on the Export Icon > Export Excel CSV file

To import Excel file to Microsoft Planner, follow the steps of the thread below:

Petter.. Thanks for your response. This looks very close to the solution. I will try to build a planner in Teams from small data-set imported fom JIRA.  Thanks again
