I need to cleanup content on tickets which are in status closed.
As KPI are based on transition information I cannot make any transition on my tickets.
Is there a way to change the configuration for a maintenance period to make changes and once those are done, set the Jira project back in the normal state
Jens
Hi @Jens Vogelgesang , have a look at this article on workflow properties - use-workflow-properties .
Depending on your exact needs and if your KPIs allow, then you might consider a "reentrant" transition - out of and back into Done.
@Jens Vogelgesang are you changing the interpretation of the ticket itself? You don't say whether or not your using the server or the cloud, (and I don't think it matters), but I've gone into my closed tickets and made adjustments for clarity without any complaints from Jira.
I'm sure you could make another status with corresponding workflows, etc, but it may be more work than it's worth. But I'd leave that up to you.
Hope that helps.

No, I do not change the interpretation of the ticket itself.
I want to cleanup some garbage as I have defined Quality Rules which are broken by some tickets.
Typical Changes I plan do make
My biggest problem is, that my KPI are defined in the transition information. They will become worse if I would change the status from closed --> closed but modifiable --> Do the changes --> closed
