Jira Workflow Toolbox - Create issue post Function

Hi.

We are used plugin "Jira Workflow Toolbox " for create issue in special status.
It's possible to add screen with fields (for priority, label, components value selection) to create issue on this post function?

Hi @Alex ,

to be honest, there is no perfect solution for this.

On a transition and even in a transition screen, you're basically still in the context of the current issue.

When editing fields on an added screen, you're therefore editing the current issue and not the one to be created. However, you could setup setup temporary fields, that are displayed on the transition, that can be edited there, that are put into the newly created and then automatically cleared afterwards (with an Update issue fields right afterwards). However, you'd have to manually keep those in sync, e.g. ensure that your component selection is up to date.

Another approach would be to use an implementation like this:, where you use the default fields for Components and Priority on the transition screen and revert them on the current issue when changed on the transition:

However, those changes are reflected by the change history of your current issue then.
