Jira Advanced Roadmap Add On - Question about Initiative Link Field

Hello -

I am using the Jira Advanced Roadmap add on for a new project I am working on. In my project I have many Task Issue Types that I want to link with Initiative Issue Types via the Initiative Link field. It appears I'm not able to make these links because of the default hierarchy from the add on for the Initiative Link field (Initiative > Epic > Task, etc.). Seems there must be an Epic Issue Type in between Task and Initiative.

Is there any way I can alter this hierarchy and be able to link Task Issue Types with Initiative Issue Types by using the Initiative Link field? Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

Hi

I guess you can update the Hierarchy configuration in the app to set Task at the Epic level, so you will be able to link Initiative to Task using Parent Link but I do not recommand it.

It will applyed to every projects.
