In Issue navaigator when we have a JQL query for ISSUETYPE what is the column that shows that field? I see bug type but no TYPE or ISSUETYPE.

So if our JQL query has issuetype = task

Can i set a column to verify they are all issuetype=task ?

Which column would that be in issue navigator advance filter column?

I saw this https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/How+to+display+the+issue+type+name+in+issue+navigator+column+beside+the+image+icon

We are on 5.2.4

Not sure what "bug type" is, but...

The issue navigator won't offer to add fields that are already there

There is an issue type column, but it is only rendered with an T at the top and the icons for the issue types (hover cursor over them for the name). The document you've found is about a minor tweak to make the column wider and display the name in text as well as the icon.
