Issues and subtasks

Question

New user and I'm not seeing this in community, but I can't be the first to ask this...

1) How can I take an issue and make it a sub-task of another issue?

2) How can I take a sub-task and "promote" it to the level of an issue?

Seems like both procedures would happen fairly often to clean/consolidate boards, fix mistakes in defining issues, etc.

In both cases, you can use the "convert to (sub-)task type" in the tools menu on the issue view (look for the ... to the right, it's a menu for adding links, cloning, converting and so-on)
