Issue collector not functioning in Chrome workaround?

We had set up a kiosk for people to created tickets without having to login to Jira. It wasn't used for a very, very long time and it was recently requested to bring it back. It isn't working. We are greeted with a prompt about third party cookies, and then when we attempt to submit the information, we get the "oops" error.

Doing some research on the topic, this seems to be a common issue since Chrome version 80 came out. This ticket: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-70494

Chrome is on version 112 now, or that is the version we are using, anyway. The workaround in that Jira ticket no longer seems to work and I haven't been able to find a different solution. The the flags area of Chrome, 'SameSite' doesn't seem to exist anymore. I was hoping someone may have an updated solution to this problem?

Hi @Ashley ,

that's a tricky problem, have you tried using a different browser like Edge, Safari, or Opera?
I believe Firefox is also based on Chromium, similar to Chrome so that might not be a good option.

Cheers,
Peter

I did try edge, with the same results. We don't have the other browsers provided to us at this company, so they aren't options, unfortunately.
