How do I open a public JIRA ticket?
I have an valid account, but when I want to raise an issue for JIRA Server ticket, it tells me I don't have assign permissions and cannot open the ticket. I also don't see fields like 'Description' on the ticket.
It isn't a Premier Support type of ticket, I want to make Atlassian aware of an issue though.
The bug tracker has mostly been closed off - too many duplicates and not-really-bugs being raised. Issues will still be added there, but you need to go via the support Service Desk to get it raised as a bug. Try https://support.atlassian.com/contact to start with, it will guide you to the right place to get an issue raised.
