How to restrict some issue types to some groups ?

Question

We have several subcontractors that should allow to work only in one Issue type from many that releated to same project.

How can i set that limitation?

Using Jira Versiion 6.4.13

there's no official solution for your question. Atlassian closed the ticket for this request as won't fix: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-5865

You can use permission scheme for it.

But it is not allowd directly, since there is an idea:

* create a new field for group
* make it mandatory for this issue type 
* fill it with proper value 
* set permission to see/make tranitors for value of this field.
