Hello !

After changing some usernames to the login stored in our LDAP for these Jira users, I need to move these users to the "Internal with LDAP Authentication User Directory" to force the control of their password by LDAP.

Groovy plugin has a script to change username but it seems it doesn't have a such one to move user to another directory.

So I've tried to do it directly in the database by changing the value of the columns named "directory_id" in tables cwd_user and cwd_membersihp but when I show the list of the users in Jira, they are still all in the "JIRA Internal Directory" !

Hi Philipe

Seems to me that your case is related to the following liks:

https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-24213

https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/87000/how-to-migrate-users-from-one-directory-to-another-using-sql?page=1#87293

In both ones you have an workaround to change user directory.

Cheers,

Paulo Renato

JIRA currently supports migrating of users from Internal Directory to Internal With LDAP and vice versa. Check the directory configuration administration page. Does that help?
