Hello.

Question:

Is there any possible way to extend the time-out of the create/transition issue pop-up?

Problem details:

On create action of one of the issue types we have quite extensive post-functions, that sometimes take long time to finish (extreme situations when post-function create 100+ subtasks).

When user tries to perform the above action he sees loading spinning circle and the pop-up becomes grayed out. However, if post-function takes long to finish, after a while the cricle disappears and the create issue popup becomes unlocked again, without returning any message. User thinks the issue was not created and repeats action.

However, the issue WAS created in the background, it was just a pop-up that timed out. This way user creates multiple copies of the same issue.

Hi @Błażej Olszyca,

have you found a solution to this issue? We have the same problem.

Thank you

No, unfortunately not. So far we just tried to make post-functions execute faster, and where we were not able to achieve this, we moved some actions to services with short timer interval.
