How to define screen for Issue Type?

Hi there,

I'm having trouble understanding how I set the default screen for a specific Issue Type.

I'm not referring to the ability to set a screen for specific transitions in Workflows. I'm referring to the screen used for the "full ticket view".

I'd like to use a different screen for the Purchase Issue Type than for all other types.

This widget could not be displayed.

Create a new screen.  

Create a new "screen scheme" and use your new screen for the appropriate action (I think it's "view" in this case)

Create a new "issue type screen scheme" that says "For Purchase issue types, use my new screen scheme"

Associate that with the project.

(I'd recommend copying the ones you're already using in the project as a baseline, so you can apply them without breaking other stuff, and revert if it goes wrong)
