How to create a custom issue field in jira using Atlassian connect.

Hi 

I am new to jira plugin devlopment.

I want to add Issue field in jira issue.

I have tried the docs provided at this link click here.

But it didn't worked out for me .

It was giving me error

"Portfolio for JIRA must be licensed for the team field to be available."

Hi Uday,

What do you mean when you say "It was giving me an error". Is this after you added the Issue Field module to your add-on and installed it in a test instance? Did your issue field appear in the custom fields list in JIRA administration?

I would recommend not naming your field "Team" as this is also commonly used by Portfolio for JIRA and could cause customer confusion.

I have followed this documentation

and tried exactly same what it was there .

I was able to run the add-on,even it got installed in our jira account.

but when I tried to add this custom field in "Jira issue" it was showing 

"Portfolio for JIRA must be licensed for the team field to be available."

and one more thing can we have action button as custom field .

for ex: a link or a button which can trigger a http call.

@uday_mishra_ go to the custom fields page in your JIRA instance (someting.atlassian.net/secure/admin/ViewCustomFields.jspa). How many custom fields called "Team" are there?
