How to create a blank project?

When I click 'Create project' it opens a view with different project templates to choose from. How do I create a blank project, without a template? I want to be able to choose components I need myself.

You can't do that, a project requires some of the settings.  It doesn't matter what template you choose though, you can always change them later.  You might want to use the "create with shared schemes" at the bottom of the template select box too - that avoids creating more schemes.

I have also the problem and want a BLANK project. This goody has been disabled some minor releases ago.

Maybe this this could be implemented again, because i spend more time changing alle items than if I would start from scratch....

Could you check the answer again please?  It's still valid.
