How do I add a drop down to a dashboard such that when a value is selected in the drop down, all the filters are updated with the selected value?

There aren't any functions in the searches that allow for that.

Sorry the original posting got clipped.

So there's no way to add input controls to dashboards? Not even with plugins?

Well, you could, if you write your own gadgets.

That could implement a drop-down from which it could take a value and re-generate the JQL it's storing. But it would only be that gadget, and it wouldn't affect the filters in other gadgets.
