How do you bulk change the custom field Sprint?

I have a user here who reports that when he attempts to use Bulk Change to edit a bunch of issues and change the Sprint field, the field does not have a drop down to select different Sprints. I've verified this. He said that if he looks up the number ID of the sprint manually he can use that. But why isn't a drop down presented for the Sprint field like other fields? Sounds like a bug...

Put the Sprint ID number in the provided field.  Sprint ID is not the most intuitive value to find, however, but you can refer to this:  https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/81995

I have made this work with a single sprint value;  27, 39, etc.  Is there any way that you can enter multiple sprint values?  So, for example, instead of changing the sprint to only 27, I can change the value of sprint to 27 and 39?
