How do I make gadgets run over HTTPS?

We want to use our JIRA instance over HTTPS at all times. Everything mostly works fine, except for the Dashboard. By turning on the console in the browser, we can see that the various "gadgets" are being requested over HTTP. This means they are blocked by default in most browsers, and even if you turn off the security in the browser then our web server will block it anyway.

How do I make it so all the gadgets are requested via HTTPS only?

There are no errors in the logs, and our JIRA is not behind a load balancer or anything like that.
