I'm referring to this documentation where I'm trying to add a scriptrunner script as a custom field. But when I search for type "Scripted Field" I don't see anything, even under advanced.

Thank you Esther, I am using Cloud...Do you have a suggestion for something similar I could use? A field that can be populated using ScriptRunner?

I haven't tried it, because we simplified our workflows when we moved to Cloud, but the last paragraph of that linked doc seems to indicate there's a workaround:
"However, we can confirm that the closest functionality to a Script Field that can be achieved in Jira cloud is a Script Listener fired on the Issue Updated event. which calculates a value on an issue as described inside of the documentation page here."

Update to this answer: scripted fields are now available in Cloud.
