Hi Team,

We need to remove existing issue type which is assigned to a project. After creating and assigning new issue type, it shows to move old issue type's issues to existing issue types.

Could you please suggest option to hide the existing issue types instead of removing issue types and moving issues. or Should be done without involve third plugin or is it possible to achieve through scripting.

You can't "hide" an issue type.  If you don't want to use one in your project, then you have to remove it from the scheme, and migrate any issues of that type to another one that you are not removing.

You can, as Joe says, hide the issues of that type with a security scheme, but your users will still be able to creates issues of that type.

You could use an issue security scheme. I don't know if you can bulk change that.
