As someone who is profoundly dyslexic, the font used by JIRA is very difficult to use. When will JIRA provide additional font options? Currently, Jira is the only tool I need to use at work, that doesn't have the capability to change fonts. From a readability and inconclusion perspective, I'm very surprised definitely disappointed.
I'm pretty sure I'm not the only user with a learning disability who has brought this to your attention. Today, I only use JIRA when I have to and do the minimum requirement level. This has become a contentious point between my manager and me. As much as I don't want to, I will probably have to take this up with Cisco's human resources.
I'm not sure what Atlassian is thinking with the font choice.
I can't tell you how many times I've commented on a ticket to click something just to have it look like dick because the c and l letter spacing is too close.
Hi, @Bobby McKernie. Welcome to the community 👋
By the way, this community is largely comprised of Atlassian customers like you (a peer network). While there are some Atlassians who contribute here, and Atlassian partners, the majority are customers/users.
To try and answer your question, we'll need to know if you are using the Atlassian Cloud platform or the Atlassian on-premises platform (aka Data Center).Hint: If you access Jira via a URL that looks like <something>.atlassian.net, you are using Cloud. Otherwise, you are likely using Data Center.
Your Jira administrator can tell you for sure.
To share your concerns and wishes directly with Atlassian, please open a support ticket with them.
Let us know how you decide to proceed.
