Hi,
Our use of Jira is as a service desk. I would like to place an easily editable "heads up" section in something like an iframe(?) above our Queue.
The idea being---we have a bunch of tickets, but some have information that we need to know---and we aren't going to go reading through every ticket every five minutes or want to deal with going through our emails for something we read yesterday.
imagine in its own frame (content either easily removed or added):
****Outage at XXXX tomorrow 10/16/19@5pm during card replacement expect these sites to go down****
*****John Doe is expecting a call from ISP "A" about ticket 105, please tell them XXXXXX and forward them to Jane Green********
***another example***
-- Then normal ticket Queue below--
ticket 105
ticket 106
ticket 107
Like a comments section that was at the top?
or some code for a notes box -- no permissions needed as long as you have permission to see the queue.
You might consider using a Dashboard w/ a text gadget and possibly include a Jira Filter gadget as well to incorporate only those issues of interest. Now how you flag those depends on your process and desire. For example you could use labels or Components or a custom field or even a priority.
If you want to have this in the Queues view while you could have a queue to show the hot items there is not way to provide a text based section.
