Getting access denied page when i click on Import issues button on create popup.

I want to upload all my issues from a google spreadsheet into JIRA using CSV upload feature. I am getting the access denied page on below url:

/secure/BulkCreateSetupPage

 

Access Denied

It seems that you have tried to perform an operation which you are not permitted to perform.

If you think this message is wrong, please contact your Jira administrators.

 

I have administrator access on the Project Settings but still I can use this feature. Please help

Hello,

You would need the make bulk changes global permission. You should ask your Jira administrator to grant you this permission.

That link explains nothing about setting global permissions for your project.

The explanation about the global permission is included in the Blue box on the top of the page. It can be easy to miss. 

It notes:

You will need the Create Issue project permission and the Make bulk changes global permission for the projects you want to create issues in. Note that your administrator can perform more advanced bulk imports. If you're an administrator, check out Importing and exporting data for more information.
