Display summary of users with assigned tasks

Hi all,

Sorry if this has already been asked, searching isn't proving too successful!

I'd like to know if there's a way to display a summary list of users (definable) with a number of Open & Assigned tasks to them. Basically i want an overview of who is busiest and who has the least amount of work assigned to them.

I would

Create a filter for "open and assigned tasks" (by which, I mean the issues you're interested in, not specifically who they are assigned to. Although, you might want to do that later - include a list of "assignee is A or B or C")

Create a Dashboard, and add a simple "filter statistics" gadget, choosing your filter and "assignee"

That will give you a bar chart, one line per assignee and a number of matching issues for them.

To get clever, use a 2D statistics gadget, with your filter, and maybe assignee and status as the two axes.
